Why this belongs in the FermiLabs story

The Science & Physics Faire brought the FermiLabs experimental method into a public STEM-outreach setting.

With the Physics Department led by Prof. Amorini at IIS Fermi-Guttuso, the portfolio describes interactive demonstrations including Chladni plates, Tesla coils and ZVS circuits, with Dewesoft DAQ systems used to analyse physical phenomena in real time.

The activity also included experimentation with an electret-material prototype. The event was organised by AIF and INFN-LNS in collaboration with the University of Catania and brought together schools and researchers from eastern Sicily.

The central idea is simple: outreach becomes deeper when a spectacular phenomenon is also measured, questioned and connected to the way science is actually practised in laboratories.
