Presenting the Dewesoft STEM School Kit

Why this belongs in the FermiLabs story

The Dewesoft STEM School Kit marked a shift from using measurement equipment on individual experiments to treating instrumentation as shared STEM laboratory infrastructure.

The portfolio states that the kit was presented to department heads for use in school activities and describes the school as the first high school to use this DAQ technology, normally associated with universities and research centres.

The same instrumentation culture connects directly to FermiLabs projects in electronics, mechanics, energy and robotics: signals need identity, timing and context, and conclusions need evidence.

The portfolio also records presentation of the kit at an event in Giarre Town Hall, where the official FermiLabs shirt was presented to the Mayor after RoboCup Junior European success.
