Why this belongs in the FermiLabs story

Researchers' Night has been a recurring bridge between FermiLabs and the wider scientific community at the University of Catania.

The portfolio describes encounters with neutrino sensors, laser reflectors and 3D-printed clay structures generated through neural-network approaches inspired by nature, linking materials science, computation and fabrication.

It also highlights KM3NeT, visits and exchanges with researchers, and a visit to the particle accelerator in Catania. These experiences expose students to the scale, instrumentation and collaborative habits of real research, then bring those expectations back into smaller FermiLabs projects.
