FermiLabs Innovation Hubis an independent, student-driven SRAD initiative founded in 2022 byEtto Fins, first as CARE4Space and, since 2024, as FermiLabs.

What began with rocketry has grown into a multidisciplinary STEM lab spanning robotics, experimental physics, electronics, AI, scientific computing and advanced measurement. We build what interests us, learn by doing, and pursue projects with a high degree of technical independence, curiosity and freedom.

Our work combines hardware and software: autonomous robotics, embedded systems, simulation tools, data acquisition, digital twins and experimental platforms.

FermiLabs has showcased projects at Maker Faire Rome 2025, competed internationally in RoboCup Junior, and taken part in scientific and engineering events connecting schools, universities, researchers and industry.

Our ecosystem

Our ecosystem includesInFormaWEB.IT, our main launch partner and supporter, providing lab space, AI, web and digital infrastructure;Dewesoft, supporting advanced DAQ and measurement; andArduino, supporting hardware and robotics experimentation.

Supporters provide facilities, tools, technology and technical exchange; FermiLabs retains ownership of what to investigate and how to develop it.
